Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin in a recent interview confirmed that he is working with Dogecoin on its journey to switch away from the Proof of Work (PoW) consensus model to a more efficient Proof of Stake (PoS) model while also mentioning that a lot more cryptocurrencies have a similar switch in the pipeline.
