Joe Mucheru, the cabinet secretary of Kenya’s information and communications ministry has warned people about rising crypto scams. He claimed that 2021 saw Kenyans losing around $120 million (roughly Rs. 915 crore) to crypto scam attacks. The national media has been asked to report as many of such instances as possible to raise awareness among investors.
